ABOUT THE
BETTER TOGETHER THERAPY RIDING CENTRE
Together We CAN
The Therapy Riding Centre has an outdoor arena and a sensory trail in the making.

The arena's riding surface is a carefully mixed combination of Wexford sand, fibres, and rubber, providing the perfect stability and traction required for therapeutic riding lessons. It also makes it very comfortable for adults and children to walk on. And regardless of any amount of rain, we never have surface water because of the number of stones laid for proper drainage under the arena's surface.

The stables are located next to the arena, which allows for covered seating for spectators.

Better Together horses are available to suit a client’s individual needs, all of which have been chosen specifically for their role as therapeutic riding horses. Their temperament is thus that they are calm, gentle, tolerant of noise and movement and able to cope with unpredictability.
Meet the Team
We're Better Together
Natalie is supported by a second QQI Qualified Therapeutic Riding Coach, Sorcha Turbitt, former speech and language therapist with over 20 years of experience working directly with children with additional needs and their families. Natalie and Sorcha are also supported by a staff of dedicated volunteers who help care for clients and, at the heart of the operation, the horses. Better Together staff are trained, compassionate, and dedicated to providing a secure and nurturing environment where clients can explore their abilities, build confidence, and achieve personal growth. Melanie Downes captures Better Together in photographs as well as providing EAL on site. Traci Gates provides website design and marketing and Niamh Weafer keeps our horses and hounds happy and relaxed with PEMF Therapy.
"And there is no, no song I could sing
And there is no combination of words I could say
But I will still tell you one thing
We're better together."
